Yuze is a Chinese legal professional whose career spans top-tier multinational in-house legal teams and international law firms. His practice focuses on cross-border dispute prevention and resolution, enterprise-wide risk advisory, global regulatory compliance and multi-jurisdictional commercial transactions.
Yuze has held in-house counsel roles with multinational enterprises. As Senior Counsel at BYD, he led comprehensive legal risk assessments for APAC markets, advised on wide-ranging compliance and information governance matters, and oversaw international compliance reporting workflows. He reviewed and negotiated a broad portfolio of cross-border commercial and procurement contracts, and served as the core liaison coordinating cross-border alignment between external legal advisers and overseas business stakeholders. At TÜV Rheinland, he supported commercial contract negotiations, designed compliance and enterprise risk management frameworks, and led internal compliance monitoring, targeted investigations and structured incident response initiatives. Earlier in his career, Yuze worked at King & Wood Mallesons, advising on cross-border e-commerce compliance and assisting on complex corporate insolvency matters.
Yuze holds a Master of Laws in International Law from China Foreign Affairs University, where he was awarded the university’s highest-level academic scholarship, and a Bachelor of Laws from Shandong University. He has also completed specialised summer programmes in French and European Law at the University of Bordeaux, and in Private International Law at The Hague Academy of International Law.
