Tanya Landon has nearly two decades of experience in international dispute resolution and focuses her practice on international commercial and investment treaty arbitration.
She acts as counsel and arbitrator in a wide range of disputes before the major arbitral institutions, involving many different sectors and activities, including construction, infrastructure, mining and energy projects, intellectual property, international joint ventures, sports and entertainment broadcasting, share purchase transactions, and agency, licensing and distribution agreements, including those between life sciences, healthcare, and medical device companies and their partners. Her practice also includes state-to-state disputes and complex cross-border litigation.
Tanya has been recognized by Who’s Who Future Leaders – Arbitration from 2017-2023, and Who’s Who National Leaders – Switzerland Arbitration since 2019. Clients state that she comes highly recommended for her outstanding work in the field and is praised by peers as “an excellent cross-examiner” (Who’s Who Future Leaders, 2020). She won “Best in Commercial Arbitration” at the Europe Women in Business Law Awards 2018.
Tanya is a Fellow with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a Member of the Arbitration Court of the Swiss Arbitration Centre, a Member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR, and a Member of the Executive Committee of the Geneva-based Foundation for International Arbitration Advocacy (FIAA). She regularly speaks and publishes on topics of international arbitration and teaches a legal writing seminar at the prestigious MIDS LL.M. program in Geneva.
