He currently serves as tribunal secretary in an international commercial arbitration.

Before joining MIDS, Jorge worked as a graduate student researcher in international dispute resolution at the Centre for International Law of the National University of Singapore (NUS). He completed his LL.M. in International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution at NUS, where he received the Helmsman Singapore Prize in Maritime Law and was nominated by his LL.M. co-directors for the NUS–MIDS Double Degree Programme. He earned his LL.B. with honours from Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City, where his thesis examined fair and equitable treatment and States’ right to regulate.
