Giorgia is an Italian-qualified lawyer with over four years of experience in dispute resolution. Before joining the MIDS, she worked as an attorney in the dispute resolution team at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in Rome. Her practice focused primarily on domestic and international litigation and arbitration. During her time at Cleary, Giorgia was involved in complex, large-scale disputes before Italian courts as well as in international commercial arbitrations administered by leading institutions such as the ICC.
Previously, she interned in the international arbitration department of Bonelli Erede, a leading Italian law firm. Giorgia has also served as a teaching assistant in “Public International Law,” and continues to serve in “International Arbitration: Law and Practice” at LUISS Guido Carli University.
She obtained her Italian law degree (Laurea Magistrale in Giurisprudenza) with honours from LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome. During her studies, Giorgia actively participated in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, where she won the best oralist award at the national rounds. She later coached a LUISS Guido Carli team in the same competition, which advanced to the international rounds in Washington, D.C.
Giorgia is also a member of the Italian below 40 Arbitration Association.
