Dr. Franz X. Stirnimann Fuentes is a Geneva-based international lawyer who focuses his practice on international arbitration and litigation as well as Swiss commercial law.
Dr. Stirnimann Fuentes has acted in some 100 international arbitrations governed by various procedural and substantive laws. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb). He is listed in the panel of arbitrators and conciliators of ICID (nominated by Switzerland) and of other well-known arbitral institutions (ICC, LCIA, WIPO, etc.).
Dr. Stirnimann Fuentes is of Swiss and Latin American origin. He is both civil and common law trained and admitted to practice in Geneva, New York (he is also a non-practising Solicitor of England & Wales).
Dr. Stirnimann Fuentes holds a doctorate from the University of Zurich, an LL.M. from Georgetown University and a law degree from the Universities of Fribourg and Durham.
