Daria is a Russian-qualified lawyer with over five years of experience in dispute resolution. She began her career as a case manager at the Russian Arbitration Center and, since 2021, has been practicing at Dyakin, Gortsunyan & Partners, a leading Russian law firm specializing in international arbitration.
Her practice focuses on energy-related and construction disputes, and she has been involved in arbitration proceedings under the ICC, SIAC, LCIA, HKIAC, and LMAA Rules. Daria also has expertise in EU and U.S. sanctions, particularly their application in the context of international arbitration. In 2024, she completed an advanced course on sanctions compliance at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow.
Daria actively engages with the arbitration community, regularly attending and speaking at specialized conferences. In 2025, she co-authored two academic articles on challenges to arbitrators based on lack of impartiality and presented her research at the Russian Arbitration Day conference.
She holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from Lomonosov Moscow State University. During her studies, she was actively involved in moot court competitions, and in 2019 her team won one of Russia’s most prestigious national contests, the Mozolin Corporate Arbitration Moot Court.
