Aisvaria Subramanian

Aisvaria is a lawyer qualified in India, currently pursuing the NUS-MIDS Double Degree LLM program. She graduated from O.P. Jindal Global University, wherein her focus was on Arbitration and International Law. During her studies, she also served as a Teaching Assistant for the subject of Conflict of Laws. 

She then served as a Judicial Clerk in the chambers of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Navin Chawla at the High Court of Delhi, where her responsibilities included assisting in the drafting of judgments and orders, with significant research on commercial arbitration, intellectual property, and company law. This experience deepened her interest in arbitration, prompting her to pursue a master’s degree in International Arbitration at the National University of Singapore, with a focus on Commercial and International Investment Arbitration. She also had the opportunity to partake in the International Economic Law Course tied with TradeLab at NUS. Additionally, she has a keen interest in Humanitarian Law and represented NUS in the 2024 Jean-Pictet Moot competition. 

When Aisvaria isn't buried in academics, she enjoys boxing and playing badminton. She also loves tennis, travelling, and reading works of Bernard Shaw.
