MIDS Lecturer and CIDS Researcher
Agustín Giustiniani is a Lecturer at the Geneva LL.M. in International Dispute Settlement (MIDS), where he teaches international commercial arbitration and inter-state dispute settlement. Before joining the MIDS, he practiced international law for over seven years across government, international organisations, and the private sector, including as Legal Officer at the Permanent Mission of Argentina in Geneva, at the UN International Law Commission, and at the Organization of American States, as well as serving as in-house counsel for a Spanish company.
He is currently completing a PhD in international law at the Geneva Graduate Institute (expected November 2025) on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and international law, under the supervision of Professor Zachary Douglas KC. He also serves as Managing Editor of the newly launched Latin American and Caribbean Journal of International Law, working alongside Professors Diego Fernández Arroyo and Ambassador Mario Oyarzábal to establish the first English-language academic journal dedicated to Latin America and public and private international law.
