Adelaide Awo Darkoa Asiedu, Esq. (MCIArb) is a multilingual Ghanaian lawyer with 5 years of experience in dispute resolution and transactional lawyering. Prior to joining the MIDS, she worked as an Associate with ÆLEX, a law firm in Accra, where she acted as counsel in international commercial arbitration and commercial litigation. She also regularly advised corporate multinationals across a variety of sectors, including oil and gas, financial technology, transportation, among others. Adelaide had previously worked with Atuguba & Associates. She also served for 3 years as a Teaching and Research Assistant at the University of Ghana School of Law, in the subjects of Public International Law, International Human Rights Law, International Humanitarian Law and Gender and the Law.
Adelaide is particularly interested in investor-state disputes, state-state disputes, and international trade disputes, and aims to establish herself as an international dispute settlement specialist. She is fluent in English and French, has limited working proficiency in German and Spanish, and has just started learning Chinese.
